The Arena and Other Intrigues

When times are bad, you do what you can to pay your debts. Some are here at the arena of necessity. Some young men are here for the thrill--little do they know. Some twisted souls are here for the pain. And some are here as prisoners or slaves. Those are the dangerous ones--they have nothing to lose.You stand before the city's arena, tense and full of anticipation as the butterflies dance in your stomach. Though victory is within your grasp, injury is a clear and present danger! And death is not out of the question.
